Manual
Quickstart
Up and running in minutes: pick a language, create a box, add words and start your first exercise.
Get going in four steps
VocaBox is quick to set up. These four steps take you from zero to your first study round. Each step links to the article with the full details.
1. Pick a language pair
On first launch you choose your native language and the foreign language you want to learn. You can add more language pairs at the top anytime. → Languages, boxes & folders
2. Create a box
Use the plus to create a box — a word list for a lesson or a topic. Folders keep several boxes together. → Languages, boxes & folders
3. Add words
Open the box, switch to the Words tab and type words in — the translate button fills in the other language automatically. Whole lists are faster via XLSX import. → Adding words
4. Practise & repeat
Start an exercise to train the words, and let the flashcard box bring them back at the right intervals — so they stick for good. → Exercises · The flashcard box
